Approach
Deeply interested in the experience of a menopausal woman struggling with herself and the discourse of society, I wrote this story.
While developing the film, I considered the camera as the protagonist's gaze that exists outside of her, constantly scrutinising her. Therefore, a seemingly simple experience of not fitting in an old suit turns into a horrific exaggeration of her self.

treatment
To give the film an uncomfortable feel, claustrophobic, close-up frames were shot using wide-angle lenses.
A visceral sound design details the horror of wanting to go back in time with every tear of the fabric, every breath of the protagonist.

SHOOTING IN A STUDIO
The film takes place mostly at night, hence a set was constructed for the shoot. The controlled environment allowed us to execute a large number of shots in a limited time.
The production design of the house was carefully planned out and budgeted to achieve the look of the film.
